My Story
|
Born in the former USSR and raised in the Middle East, I was enriched with many diverse experiences, where art has always been a major element of self-expression and a form of escapism.
I’ve lived, studied and created in New York for most of my life, and it has been an infinite source of inspiration. The magnitude of the artistic scene provides a vast infrastructure for an artist and many human instances to trigger the creative process. In an attempt to uncover a human moment, I search for harmony in a scene, an occurrence or a person, both in the darkest shadow and the brightest light, documenting the beauty and fleeing emotion behind it; agony, longing, sensuality, erotica, and the aesthetics of Memento Mori. |
